Days passed, but the feeling of that moment stayed with them. Even though they hadn't seen each other in a while, their thoughts never strayed far. Every morning began with the memory of each other, and every night ended the same way. No matter how much time or distance came between them, they still felt connected, as if their hearts refused to let go.
