Author pov

The couple stands very close to each other, their faces softly lit by a warm glow. They gaze deeply into each other's eyes, full of love and affection. Their eyes sparkle with emotions and understanding that go beyond words. Gentle smiles spread across their faces, showing their joy and contentment. They seem completely at ease, their bodies relaxed and leaning slightly towards each other. It's as if the rest of the world has disappeared, leaving just the two of them in this beautiful, intimate moment. The air around them feels charged with their love, creating a serene and blissful atmosphere.

He gently moved her to the nearby chair and helped her sit down, still completely lost in her black, moist eyes. Her eyes seemed to express many different emotions all at once, making him feel a deep connection to her. He made a small gesture to his brothers, signaling them to leave the room. They quietly left, giving the couple some privacy. Now, only the two of them remained in the room, surrounded by a sense of peace and understanding. The atmosphere was filled with unspoken words and strong feelings, creating a special and intimate moment just for them.

He slowly removed his palm from hers, the warmth of his touch lingering as he walked over to the table. With a deliberate calmness, he picked up a packet of waffles and a glass of water. Returning to her, he placed them gently on the small tea table beside her.

She remained entranced by his captivating blue eyes, completely unaware of the moment he had let go of her hand and moved away. It was as if time had stood still for her, lost in the depth of his gaze. She snapped back to reality only when he offered her the packet of waffles, her favorite treat. The sight of them and the thoughtful gesture brought a soft smile to her lips, grounding her in the present moment.

Avantika's pov

"Aap,"( you) I said, my smile widening as I looked at him. He responded with a gentle nod, his eyes silently urging me to drink the water. Obediently, like a good child, I picked up the glass and drank it all in one go, feeling the cool liquid soothe my throat.

As I set the empty glass down, I couldn't help but wonder if he remembered me after these two long years. Did the memories of our time together still linger in his mind as they did in mine? Regardless, one thing was clear: he was an exceptionally good person, and his almost fictional, sculpted physique only added to his allure. His presence was both comforting and surreal, making me feel like I was living in a storybook moment.

"I am Aadish Rajawat," he replied with a small smile, a smile so disarming that it nearly made me lose my heart to him. He was undeniably cute. Everyone says that when a person is drunk, they speak the truth.

"Aadish Rajawat?" I repeated, almost questioning, as the realization of who he was dawned on me.

"Aap,"( you) I almost shouted and tried to stand on my still aching feet. "Sorry, sir, I had no idea that you are the boss. I'm really sorry." But before I could say anything more, he gently interrupted, "Miss Avantika, calm down," and assured me to take a seat, his demeanor soothing and composed.

"Aapki koi galti nahi hai, hum hi aapko yaha le aaye the,"( I bought you here there is not a single mistake of you )he said as he handed me the packet of waffles.

I looked at him with a questioning expression, and he responded, "Lijiye,"( take it) instructing me to take it.

"Sir, theek hai, mujhe ab Jana chahiye," ( sirr, it's ok I think I should leave now )I said aloud, though I couldn't deny the admiration I still felt for him. "Maan to bilkul nahi hai magar ruk bhi to nahi sakti,"( i don't wanna go but I can't even stay na )
I thought to myself.

But before I could leave, he insisted, "Pehle isko khatam kijiye, phir Avantika , aap ja sakti hai,"+ first finish these avantika , than you can go )he said more like an order, which made me see him differently. It was as if he wasn't the same person as before. And most importantly, the way he said my name felt different to me, stirring something within me that I couldn't quite understand. His presence commanded attention, leaving an indelible impression that lingered long after our encounter.

Without any second thought, I took the waffles and started eating. They were warm and sweet, just the way I liked them. I hoped he would leave after this, but no, he just stayed there, watching me like I was a movie or something really important to him. His intense gaze made me feel very uneasy.

"Ab thoda dar lag raha hai bhole, yaad hai na vo ek book meh vo Jo psycho tha, hey bhagwan bachha lena apni bachi ko," ( I am scared lord Shiva , you remember na that book psycho guy from my one of the book , please save me ji )I thought to myself while eating my favorite waffles. I know it's a coincidence, but it's true that these are my all-time favorite food. I just love them.

Even though I felt uncomfortable, the waffles brought me a little comfort. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just perfect. As much as I enjoyed them, his constant staring made it hard to relax and enjoy my food fully.

Aadish's pov

In this moment, she looks at me with an admiration that makes me feel like her entire world. It’s a surreal feeling, almost like a dream that could disappear at any moment. I can't help but enjoy how her gaze never leaves me, not even for a second. Her black eyes shine brilliantly, like stars – my star, my Vani. I am determined to love her in every possible way she comes before me. Today, dressed in her traditional outfit, she looks like a goddess.

The past two years have been incredibly tough on her. The things she went through were heart-wrenching. It's amazing how she managed to handle everything so quickly when some people would be burdened by such pain for their entire lives. My strong woman dealt with it all so gracefully, and although she’s good at hiding her emotions, she can’t hide them from me. Her eyes tell me everything – the depth of her hurt and pain.

"Hum nyi chahte the aapse aisi baat karna magar kya kare aap jiddi hi itni hai, agar as a order na kaha hota to kbhi hmari baat na manti." ( I don't wanna talk to you like these , but you are too stubborn to understand me )Sorry God, if she is hurt please give me all her pain. Please don't make her suffer because of me.My cute baby. She has always been a cutie to me, but today, as I watch her eating her favorite waffles, she looks even more beautiful. The way she is munching on her waffles and devouring them is giving me some not-so-innocent thoughts. Oh, my little baby is trying to look angry at me, giving me side eyes.

I didn't realize how much time had passed as I watched my world in front of me, completely engrossed. It occurred to me that sitting here and staring at her might seem a bit too intense if anyone else saw. But Shri said one thing correctly: no one is going to replace Vani's waffles in her life. The way she is ignoring my gaze and focusing on her waffles is just adorable. "Bss aise hi pyaar kijiye ga aap humse betu,"( love me the same way baby ) I thought, starting to leave when she called out to

Author's POV

She called him "sir." He stopped and turned around. "Ji," he replied softly.

"Can I go? Actually, it must be result time by now," Avantika said as she stood from her seat and made her way towards the door.

"Yaa sure, you can leave but be careful and have lunch," he responded, stepping outside the office door with her following closely behind.

As they moved through the corridors towards the interview waiting area, all eyes were on them. Many looked shocked, wondering how a girl could be with him. He took slow steps, mindful of Avantika's injury, knowing he couldn't carry her this time. He felt it was his responsibility to ensure she didn't get hurt, a gesture not going unnoticed by others, especially the three Rajawat brothers who were watching from a distance, ensuring no one disturbed them.

They finally reached the waiting area where he busied himself with calls while Avantika anxiously awaited the results.

After some time, the results were announced:

"Miss Sruti,
Miss Raghini,
Mr. Kunal,
Mr. Ved,
And the last and highest point ranker is Miss Avantika."

"Yeeehhhh," a loud voice echoed through the entire floor, making everyone realize that someone was really tempting fate today. Every office member shivered, fearing whose last day it might be. In this office, they just did their work and never misbehaved. Other than Aadish, no one dared raise their voice, knowing all too well about his anger issues; he never hesitated to act out violently.

Aadish pov

A loud voice startled me as I was waiting, and the first thought that came to my mind was Avantika. I immediately headed in her direction, where I found a group of people gathered around someone.

"Do you guys not have any work to do? Surely Sunday will not beΒ  a holiday for you from now," I blurted out as I approached. All of them turned towards me with pale faces and stood back a bit.

Then I noticed only four people remaining, staring at me as if I were an alien: Om, Rudra, Armaan, and my sweetheart. I composed myself and asked, "What are you guys doing here?" Vani glanced at the others and then at me. "Brother, um... I mean boss, we got scared hearing a loud scream from miss, but when we got here, we realized she was just shouting in excitement," Armaan explained, while the other two remained silent.

"I softly asked, not wanting to add to her already fearful state, 'Can today miss van... I mean Avantika, you will answer my question, right?'

'Yes boss,' she hurriedly replied, as if 'train jhutt jani hai inki.'

'So, why did you shouted ji?' I asked softly.

'Sir, I got first rank,' she happily said while playing with her bangles.

'Congratulations, Avantika, that's great,' I congratulated her, sensing the change in the atmosphere. 'Okay, it's true. I've never congratulated anyone until now, not even my real brother.

As I spoke these words, I realized the impact of my own unexpected compliment. Avantika seemed genuinely pleased, yet I remained uneasy. Praising others had never been my forte, and the discomfort of expressing admiration was palpable in the room. Despite this, her achievement deserved recognition, and I couldn't deny the shift in dynamics brought about by my rare display of commendation."

"Hum kisi ki tarif kar sake Humme aisi baat kaha , or khudko aapki tarif karne se rok sake humari itni aukat kaha "

( "Where do we have the words to praise others, and where do we have the audacity to stop ourselves from praising you?")
