Author's POV
A man stood in the dim light, his figure partially obscured yet undeniably compelling. He wore a pristine white kurta, its simple elegance sharply contrasting with the shadowy surroundings. His eyes were a deep, intense black, seeming to hold untold stories within their depths. His hair, dark as midnight, cascaded down to his shoulders, framing his face in an almost ethereal manner.
In his left ear, a white diamond earring sparkled, catching and reflecting the faint light, adding a touch of brilliance to his otherwise somber appearance. Draped over his shoulders and held loosely in his veiny hands was a shawl, its folds and drapes enhancing his enigmatic presence. The veins on his hands stood out prominently, giving off a dangerous, almost menacing aura that made one wary of approaching him.
Around his neck hung a small gold chain, a subtle yet noticeable accessory that hinted at understated luxury. Each of his fingers was adorned with a different ring, each one set with the finest diamonds in the world, their facets gleaming and creating a mesmerizing display of light and color. These rings were not just jewelry; they were statements of power, wealth, and an impeccable taste for the extraordinary.
The overall effect of his appearance was one of striking and ominous elegance. He exuded a presence that was both captivating and intimidating, a figure shrouded in mystery and a hint of danger. This man, with his blend of refined attire and formidable aura, seemed to belong to a different realm, one where power and enigma walked hand in hand.
Raghav Rajput, 30 years old, is the undisputed king of Rajasthan. Known for his leadership and charisma, he has earned the title "the only king" of this historic region.
while he was on a call,
Raghav Rajput heard a loud, menacing voice behind him shouting," Raghav rajput tujhe to Aaj hum jinda gad denge " ( Raghav Rajput, today we will surely make you alive")He spun around quickly, but before he could fully process the threat, a knife was thrust towards him. With reflexive speed, he raised his hand, and the blade pierced his palm. The force of the stab was intended for his heart, but his quick reaction saved him from a fatal blow.
"Dhruv shekhawat kitni baar kaha hai humne aapse pichhe se vaar karege to maar diye jayege aap "( "Dhruv Shekhawat, how many times have we told you that if we attack you from behind, we will be killed") Raghav spoke in a menacing tone while gripping a knife, blood flowing steadily. Dhruv Shekhawat, his cousin but regarded as nothing less than a demon by Raghav, smiled gleefully at the sight of the blood. "Vo to aaj pta chal hi jayega hukum sa " ( "So, we'll find out the verdict today.")Dhruv replied with a sarcastic smile. Betrayal seemed to be Dhruv's way, and Raghav was not oblivious to this fact. Despite this, Raghav did not want to harm Dhruv, but today Dhruv had crossed all limits.
As a member of a royal family, Dhruv harbored a relentless desire for higher status and royalty, which he believed only the position of king could grant him. The sole barrier standing in his way was Raghav Rajput, whose presence thwarted Dhruv's aspirations for the throne.
"khandan ka ek lauta varish ,rajasthan ka raja, jiski nafrat se khuda bhi darta hai, ussi se dhruv shekhawat dushmani nibhana chahta hai ."( "The sole heir of the family, the king of Rajasthan, whom even God fears due to his hatred, Dhruv Shekhawat wants to settle scores with him.")
"Veer..." Raghav's voice echoed with authority, calling forth a person dressed in a brown kurta. Veer Pratap entered the room with a resolute expression, flanked by four imposing figures armed with guns and various other weapons. The atmosphere grew tense as they advanced, their presence suffused with a palpable threat. Before Dhruv could concoct any further tactics or plans of escape, Veer Pratap, Raghav's only truly loyal man, swiftly and decisively captured him. Dhruv's struggles were futile against the orchestrated precision of Veer's team, sealing his fate in the game where loyalty and betrayal were the ultimate stakes.
"le jayiye inhe hum kuchh der meh aate hai achhi tah se sheva hona chahiye inki ".( "Please take them along; we will join you shortly. They should be enjoyed properly.") Veer instructed his associates to take Dhruv with them. Throughout this process, Dhruv was screaming in fear for his life because he believed that as long as Raghav was in charge of him, he would be safe. However, if Veer were to get involved accidentally, Dhruv feared that he would face severe consequences and possibly meet a brutal end soon afterward. The situation was filled with tension and a sense of imminent danger for Dhruv.
"hukum sa, app hmare sath ye nyi kar sakte aap ne vachan diya hai ", ( "Sure, you can't do this with us. You have promised.")
Dhruv is loudly expressing himself, but no one is paying attention to him. Guards arrive, and both Dhruv and the guards disappear from Raghav's sight." uss vachan ka maan rakh ke hi aapko itne din jinne diya tha humne dhruv bhira ", "hum aapko samjha ke thak gaye, magr kahete hai na apne khun ka asar kbhi sath nyi chhodta, aaj aapne hume fir veer ko bulane pe majbur kar diya bhira" ( "Keeping that promise in mind, we have let you live for so many days, Dhruv Bhira. We've tried to explain to you that we're tired, but as they say, the impact of one's blood never fades. Today, you've forced us to summon Veer again."), raghav thought while recalling his past memories .
"hukum sa , hukum ..... "veer called raghav when he was lost in his thoughts .
"ji kahiye veer " ( ji say veer ) raghav replied . "dijiye .... "( Give it to me ) veer said while taking a knife from raghavs hand .
"ye is ek mahine meh 3 baar ho chuka hai hukum ab kya karna hai "( the same thing has happened three times in this month what we have to do next )
veer said while tying raghavs hand from a piece of cloth .
"hum samjh sakte hai aap unke sath kuchh galt nyi karna chahte ,mgr aap agr unke sath kuchh nhi krege to vo aapko aise hi nuksan paho chate rahenge ".( "We understand you don't want to do anything wrong with them, but if you don't take action against them, they will continue to harm you.") veer said everything which was in his mind .
"jo karna h kijiye mgr is mahele meh nyi , veer " ( do whatever you want , but not in this palace veer ) raghav said still thinking.
"jo hukum "( ohk boss( veer said and was about to turn but stopped and said
"or ek baat hukum sa, kll se tevharo ki suruat hone wali hai " ( one more think boss , from Tommorow festival are getting start) raghav said
"ji hume yaad hai ab aap jaiye kafi raat ho chuki h " ( yes , i remembered now you can leave it's already too late ) raghav said and left for his room .
"ji hukum" ( ohk boss )veer said and he too left from mahel .
"maaf kijiye ga maasa hum ab chhah kar bhi kuchh nyi kar skte, agar vo bss hmari jaan chahte, to hum de bhi dete, magar vo aapki jaan ,baba sa maan, hmara rajastan ,jhinna chahte hai or aap janti hai vo hmare rajya ko barbaad kar denge . hume maaf kar dijiye ga ."( "Please forgive me, Mother. I can't do anything now even if I try. If they just want my life, I would give it, but they want your life, Father's respect, our Rajasthan, which they want to ruin, and you know they will destroy our state. Please forgive me.") Raghav stood before a towering portrait that captured the images of his mom and dad, their proud faces staring down at him. The painting was a testament to the significance of his family in his life. With a serious yet resolute expression, Raghav expressed his readiness to confront challenges and make sacrifices. He was determined not to let anything destroy the foundation his parents had laid-a legacy of love, strength, and unity. In that moment, Raghav's demeanor conveyed deep commitment and a strong sense of purpose, rooted in honoring and preserving what his parents had cherished and built together.

In the dimly lit train compartment at 2 am, a young woman in her twenties sat alone, clad in a white anarkali dress accented with delicate jewelry-a pair of bangles, a small mang tika, a nose pin, and petite earrings. Her eyes were swollen from tears that flowed without pause, yet there was a glimmer of relief in her demeanor, a sense of liberation from the torment she had left behind.
Clutching a black bag tightly on her lap, she gazed out the window, lost in thoughts of an uncertain future. Exhausted by her emotions, she eventually succumbed to sleep, her tear-streaked face now peaceful in repose.
Upon closer inspection, faint marks adorned her face, hands, and neck, reminiscent of old wounds inflicted by something sharp-an unsettling reminder of the struggles she had endured.
As she woke at 5 am, the gentle motion of the train felt familiar yet unusual. The early light filtering through the window hinted at a new beginning. With a sudden halt at an unfamiliar station, she stepped onto the platform, greeted by a landscape she hadn't anticipated. Rajasthan, her dreamland, unfolded before her eyes, its colors and rhythms weaving a spell of wonder. Amidst the unexpected journey, she sensed the promise of adventure and the allure of the unknown.
Siya's povΒ
"I don't know why I am here or for what reason, but I feel there must be something special about this place. This is Rajasthan. It's the place I've always wanted to visit, maybe even if it means coming here after death. I have fallen in love with the fragrance of this place. I want to explore every tradition of this place".
"Ab yaha to gayi magar.....aree ha ashwat bhi to yahi ke ek college meh hai usse kahugi to sayad vo kuchh help kar de "( "Now i amΒ here, but... oh yes, Ashwat is also at the same college. If I tell him, maybe he can help.")I called him, and to my relief, he picked up after just one ring. I shared all my concerns with him. Since we've known each other since school, he's been familiar with a lot about me and my family. It felt reassuring to confide in someone who understands where I'm coming from.
When I met him, he assured me of his full support in achieving my goals to the best of his ability. He's a very sincere and straightforward person, which I appreciate. I'm grateful to have his number; otherwise, finding such a comfortable place in Rajasthan would have been really challenging, especially with the scorching summer heat here.
And the view of the room was like :
A small room that reflects the colorful culture of Rajasthan, a state in India. The walls are painted with beautiful paintings showing scenes from Rajasthan, like dancers and desert landscapes. The colors are rich and bright, like deep reds, blues, and gold.
Inside, there's furniture made of carved wood, with detailed designs. In one corner, there's a low wooden stool with colorful cushions. The floor is covered with a traditional rug that has geometric patterns and bright colors.
There's a wooden cabinet displaying brass items and pottery, which are famous in Rajasthan. The room is lit with pretty lamps that cast patterns on the walls.
The room smells of sandalwood and spices, typical of Rajasthan. Maybe there's even a traditional smoking pipe on display.
This room captures the history and art of Rajasthan in a cozy and inviting space.
It's been a week since I arrived here. Ashwat visited my place 2 or 3 times to make sure I was safe and comfortable. My parents didn't allow me to pursue higher education, but luckily, my uncle gifted me a phone, which I used to learn important things and start earning online. This has been a huge help in my current situation. I've really been enjoying myself this week, visiting many different places. The ongoing summer festival here is just awesome.
Arre bhai, Rajasthan ki garmi mein bhi maza hai! Maine pehli baar Rajasthan aayu aur wahin ke festivals dekh kar bas wahin se pyaar ho gaya. Rajasthan ka mahol alag hi hai, especially jab summer mein festivals chal rahe hote hain.
Sabse pehle toh uska rang dekho! Garmi ke mausam mein bhi sab kuch kitna vibrant lagta hai. Haveliyon ke bhitar aur bahar, har jagah jaadu hai. Gulaabi, peela, neela - har rang ka jadoo hai Rajasthan mein. Aur uss rangat mein logon ki boli, unki muskurahat, aur unke libaas ka alag hi swag hai.
Aur festivals ki baat toh aur alag hai. Rajasthan mein festivals itne lively hote hain ki dil khush ho jaata hai. Mein ek baar Jaisalmer ki Desert Festival mein gayi thi, wahin ke folk dance, camel races, aur folk songs ne mujhe bilkul fascinate kar diya. Sab kuch itna lively tha ki garmi ki chinta hi bhool gayi thi!
Aur fir uss khaas mehfil mein thoda sa thar desert ka magic bhi tha. Dhoop ke neeche bhi log itne energetic aur welcoming the, ki lagta tha jaise pure sheher ne humein apna liya ho.
Rajasthan ka ek aur special attraction hai uska street food. Garmi ke mausam mein bhi uski thandi lassi aur pyaaz ke kachori ka maza alag hi hota hai.
Overall, Rajasthan ki garmi mein bhi festival ka atmosphere itna magical hota hai ki jaane bina dil nahi bharta. Wahin ki beauty aur culture ne mujhe bas deewana bana diya!
( "Wow, Rajasthan is so enjoyable even in the heat! It was my first time in Rajasthan and I fell in love with it just by seeing its festivals. The atmosphere of Rajasthan is unique, especially when festivals are happening during the summer.
Firstly, just look at its colors! Everything looks so vibrant even in the hot weather. There's magic everywhere inside and outside the havelis. Pink, yellow, blue - there's magic of every color in Rajasthan. And in that vibrancy, the way people speak, their smiles, and their attire have a unique style.
And the festivals are something else. Festivals in Rajasthan are so lively that it makes the heart happy. I once went to the Desert Festival in Jaisalmer, and the folk dances, camel races, and folk songs fascinated me completely. Everything was so lively that I forgot about the worries of the heat!
And then there was a bit of magic from the Thar Desert in that special gathering too. Even under the sun, people were so energetic and welcoming that it felt like the whole city had embraced us.
Another special attraction of Rajasthan is its street food. Enjoying cool lassi and onion kachori in the heat is a different kind of pleasure.
Overall, the festival atmosphere in Rajasthan, even in the heat, is so magical that one's heart isn't satisfied without experiencing it. The beauty and culture of that place made me completely enchanted!")
Today was an extraordinary day β a day that felt like a dream come true. There was a grand celebration at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jaipur, and I couldn't contain my excitement at the thought of visiting such a majestic place. As I approached the palace gates, my heart fluttered with anticipation. "It's time to meet the king," whispered my heart. Yet, amidst my excitement, a hint of doubt crept in. Would I really gain entry into the palace? "Hey Ram, help me out," I muttered under my breath, hoping for a stroke of luck.
