The office was too quiet, too polished. The steady hum of the AC pressed against my ears, and the faint clicking of keyboards outside the cabin felt sharper than usual — like needles poking at my already restless mind. Even the faint glow from the city lights spilling through the blinds couldn’t calm me. Instead, everything seemed to blur, louder, heavier, suffocating.
